1. About This Policy

1.1 This Cookie Policy explains how GLOBAL ENTERPRISE CLOUD SYSTEMS ("GECS", "we", "us"), trading as AdultSense, uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, tags and device identifiers) on adultsense.com, in the client portal and in our ad server. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains your rights and how to exercise them.

1.2 Our ad server delivers advertising on independent third-party websites ("Publisher Websites") that GECS does not own, operate or control. Each Publisher is responsible for informing its visitors and, where required by law, obtaining their consent before our ad technology loads (see section 6).

2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

2.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or ad server. "First-party" cookies are set by the domain you are visiting; "third-party" cookies are set by another domain, such as our ad server when an advertisement appears on a Publisher Website.

2.2 "Session" cookies are deleted when you close your browser; "persistent" cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them.

2.3 Similar technologies include local storage (data held in your browser), pixels or beacons (small images or scripts that record that a page or ad was loaded) and identifiers derived from request data. References to "cookies" in this policy include these technologies.

3. Cookies on adultsense.com and the Portal

3.1 We use the following categories of cookies on our own website and portal:

CategoryPurposeDuration typeConsent needed?
Strictly necessaryKeeping you signed in to the portal, protecting against cross-site request forgery, remembering security settings, balancing loadSession to 30 daysNo
PreferenceRemembering language, display options, marketplace filters and dismissed noticesPersistent, up to 12 monthsWhere required by law
AnalyticsUnderstanding, in aggregate, how the website and marketplace are used so that we can improve themPersistent, up to 13 monthsYes, where required by law

3.2 We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies on adultsense.com itself.

3.3 Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the portal and using account features.

4. Ad-Serving Technologies

4.1 When an advertisement is delivered on a Publisher Website, our ad server may set or read a cookie or use a similar pseudonymous identifier for the purposes below:

PurposeWhat it doesDuration type
Frequency cappingLimits how often a popunder or other advertisement is shown to the same browserShort-lived, typically 24 hours
Unique impression countingCounts unique impressions for positions reported on that data typePersistent, up to 30 days
RotationAllocates traffic between shares of a rotation according to each share's percentageSession to 30 days
Invalid traffic and fraud detectionIdentifies bots, automated or repeated requests and other invalid activityPersistent, up to 30 days
ReportingProduces aggregated statistics for Advertisers and Publishers and marketplace estimatesLinked to the above; logs kept 90 days

4.2 Our ad server also receives technical information sent by your browser with each request, such as IP address, user agent, language and referring page. Raw ad server logs are kept for 90 days and then aggregated or anonymised, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4.3 GECS does not use these identifiers to build cross-site behavioural profiles of individuals and does not offer interest-based targeting of individuals. Targeting on the Platform is by position, format, country and similar contextual criteria.

4.5 Ad tags are delivered as scripts or iframes placed by the Publisher on its own pages. The format of a position (popunder, banner or text link) determines which technologies are used: popunders typically rely on frequency capping so that a browser is not shown repeated windows, while banners and text links rely mainly on impression and click counting. Click tracking is performed by routing the click through our ad server before forwarding the browser to the Advertiser's landing page.

4.6 Where a browser blocks cookies or local storage, our ad server falls back to counting based on request data held only in short-lived logs. This may reduce the accuracy of unique impression counts and frequency capping, but advertising may still be delivered. Statistics from our ad server remain the sole basis for billing and reporting.

5. Advertiser Technologies

5.1 An Advertiser's ad code may load the Advertiser's own cookies, pixels or scripts when an advertisement is displayed or clicked, for example to measure conversions on the Advertiser's landing page. These technologies are controlled by the Advertiser and governed by its privacy policy, not by GECS.

5.2 Advertisers must ensure that their technologies comply with applicable law and with the Advertiser Guidelines, and must not use ad code to install software, collect personal data covertly, fingerprint devices unlawfully or redirect users without interaction. GECS may reject or remove ad code that does not comply.

6. Publisher Consent Responsibility

6.1 Where the law (for example the EU ePrivacy Directive as implemented in member states, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations or any other law applicable to the website) requires notice, consent or an opt-out before non-essential cookies are set or read, the Publisher operating the website is responsible for providing that notice and obtaining any consent, using a mechanism of its choice that meets applicable law.

6.2 Under the Publisher Terms and Publisher Guidelines, Publishers must: (a) disclose in their own privacy or cookie notice that third-party ad technology is used; (b) obtain consent where legally required before our ad tags load; (c) not load our ad tags for visitors who have refused consent where consent is required; and (d) implement age assurance appropriate to their websites and applicable law.

6.3 GECS relies on Publishers to meet these obligations and may suspend serving to a Publisher Website that fails to do so.

7. How to Control Cookies

7.1 Browser settings: you can view, block and delete cookies through your browser settings, including blocking all third-party cookies. Most browsers also offer private browsing modes that discard cookies when the session ends. Blocking our ad server cookies will not stop advertisements appearing, but may mean you see the same advertisement more often.

7.2 On adultsense.com: you may block analytics and preference cookies in your browser, or contact Show email with the subject "Cookie opt-out" to exercise your choices.

7.3 On Publisher Websites: use the consent or privacy controls provided by the Publisher.

7.4 Opting out of ad server identifiers: you may contact Show email with the subject "Cookie opt-out" or "Do Not Sell or Share" to opt out. Please include the information described in the Privacy Policy so that we can locate relevant records. We will process valid requests as required by applicable law.

8. Changes and Contact

8.1 We may update this Cookie Policy as our technologies or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed, and material changes will be notified to account holders at least 15 days in advance.

8.2 Questions: Show email, subject "Privacy request". GECS publishes information as required by applicable law.
